Girl of year 1979...
1979년, 영문과 여대생 소은은 지금 짝사랑의 환희에 젖어있다. 같은과 친구 선미와 우정도 새롭게 쌓여간다. 그런 그녀에게 우연히 굴러 들어온 고물 무선기 하나. 개기월식이 진행되는 어느 날, 낡은 무선기를 통해 신기한 교신음이 들려온다.
그리고 남자의 목소리를 듣는다. 그는 소은과 같은 대학 광고창작학과에 다니는 지인이라는 남학생. 소은은 학교 시계탑 앞에서 만날 것을 약속한다.
Year 1979, So-eun, a college girl majoring in English literature, has fallen in love. She also build friendship with a friend in the same department called Sun-mi. By chance she finds an old HAM radio and on the day of total eclipse, a strange voice comes out from the radio.
She hears the boy’s voice. He was a student in the same college called Ji in and they promise to meet at the clock tower.

2000년, 아마추어 무선통신에 열광하는 한 남자가 있다. 광고창작학과 2학년생인 지인은 여자친구 현지에게 신경쓸 겨를도 없이 언제나 미지의 공간, 미지의 사람과의 교신에만 열중하고 있다. 그러던 어느 날 지인은 낯선 여자로부터 교신을 받는다.
그녀는 같은학교 영문과에 다니는 소은. 그는 그녀와 학교 시계탑 앞에서 만날 것을 약속한다.
Year 2000. There is a boy enthusiastic about amateur radio communication. Ji in is a sophomore in the department of commercial advertising, and is crazy about talking to an unidentified person through the radio that he doesn’t even have time for his girlfriend Hyeon-ji. One day, he receives a signal from a strange girl.
She is So-eun, a student in the same college who is in the English literature department. They promise each other to meet in front of the clock tower.

Different time...
연일 이어지는 데모, 소은이 서있는 맑은 날씨의 학교교정은 체류 가스로 자욱하다. 소은은 아직 공사중인 시계탑 앞에서 데모행렬을 보며 지인을 기다린다. 그러나 아무리 기다려도 지인은 나타나지 않는다. 약속시간은 벌써 2시간을 넘어간다. 그리고 얼마나 지났을까... 지인은 지인대로 학교 시계탑 앞에서 장대비를 맞으며 소은을 기다리고 있다.
그런데 학교 시계탑은 이미 완공된 상태. 도대체 무슨일이 벌어지고 있는 걸까... 그날의 어긋난 약속으로 각자 화가 난 둘.
그러나 둘은 다시 시작된 교신으로 그들에게 믿을 수 없는 일이 벌어지고 있음을 알게된다. 그들은 21년의 시간을 뛰어넘어 교신을 주고 받았던 것이다.
There is student demonstration everyday and the school is filled with gas. So-eun waits for Ji in in front of the clock tower that is still under construction. However, no matter how long she waited, Ji in doesn’t show up. Ji in on the other hand waits for So-eun in front of the clock tower under the rain. The strange thing is that the clock tower is already built. What is happening? Both of them are angry at each other for not showing up at the clock tower.
However, they start to talk again and find out something unbelievable. They were 21 years apart.

그로부터 마치 마술처럼 무선통신을 통한 신비한 만남이 이어진다. 그들은 서로 다른 시간속에서 각자의 사랑과 우정을 얘기하며 같은 마음이 되어간다. 그리고 서서히 움트는 그리움. 그러나 그들에게 인연의 엇갈리는 운명이 가로놓여 있는데...
